Freelance Jobs 16th Dec
Here's todays freelance jobs:
Flexible writing opportunity. 0.75 cents per 500 characters from www.searchsays.com. Seems genuine, though I have my doubts about whether it's going to 'take-off'. What the heck, money's money. So long as they're paying, write for em and pocket the dough. The minute they turn belly-up, move on to the next internet wannabe.

The Wall Street Journal ( subscription required ) has a section on "A Half-Century of Writers Thinking Out Loud"
"Why do we read author interviews? Is it not enough that a writer has told a story well, moving us or making us laugh? Must we also go snooping into his private life, interrogating him, picking over his 'stuff'..."
Yeah. Too right. Leave writers alone. BTW, the piece above in the WSJ was written by one John Freeman. He's president of the National Book Critics Circle. Has written a book or two...And this, "No hugging please" is one of his um.., famous book reviews. Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha. Sorry, Mr. Freeman. You're too juicy a target with your bloviating about leaving writers alone.
